4.1 Local Storage

Clips and projects can be stored locally in your browser until you choose to sync or delete them. Local data is stored on your device only and is not accessible to us unless you sync it to the Treck workspace.

4.2 Cloud Storage

When you sync clips and projects to the Treck workspace, they are stored on secure cloud servers. We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS/SSL) and at rest to protect your data.

4.3 Data Retention

We retain your clips and projects and associated data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. You can delete your data at any time through the Treck workspace.

5. Chrome Extension Permissions

Treck requires certain Chrome permissions to function:

• activeTab: To read the page you are on when you choose to clip from it
• scripting: To capture the selected text, price or screenshot you clip
• storage: To save your preferences and local clips and projects
• contextMenus: To offer "Add to Treck" actions while you browse

These permissions are used solely for the functionality described in this Privacy Policy.

6. Information Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information only in the following circumstances:

• With your consent: When you explicitly authorize us to share information

Treck does not monitor the content of your clips and is not responsible for your compliance with applicable laws.

Treck is not intended for use by children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately.

10. International Data Transfers
